Achieving synchronicity in your life is easy right now. It’s a simple case of following your heart and allowing spirit, love, God and your true feelings to flow through you. By opening your heart, you allow yourself to flow with what the universe intended for you. OK, you’ve heard this before I am sure. However are you really in sync with what the universe intended for you when you get everything you want, or are you simply unconsciously being cleverly manipulated like a pawn for those with a darker agenda, not unlike the masses plugged-into (as in the movie) The Matrix? (If you haven’t seen this movie already, I encourage you to do so.)
Most of us find that our lives flow when we are happiest. This is simple to understand: when we are happy our vibration changes and we attract similar positive energies because love is the most powerful force known, and is the only thing that is real. Hold that thought…
You might or might not be aware that we have been conditioned with false egos or identities; simplified – we are NOT who we think we are. This ‘false identity’ straps us to the misleading belief of ‘it’s all about me’ or separateness from the collective consciousness or love. If you threaten someone’s identity or go against what ‘they want’, most of the time, you will soon know about it. In simple terms, you have been given this ‘false identity’ for one dark purpose – control. Control of YOU!! How is this possible? Simple! You are conditioned with wanting. As long as you want, you remain a slave to a system that is based on control and misuse of power. As I have previously written, all wanting is a search for external happiness, thus separation from who and what you already are – LOVE.
So by that rationale, are we really in sync when we are happy or are we just in sync with our false identities? If that’s the case, then we are not in sync with the universe but instead our false ‘ever-wanting’ egos, therefore, back again into the invisible net of control. Think about it. Most of us are happiest most when we get what we want. In the last issue of Connect, Mike Friganiotis wrote about how blissful ignorance is. Is this the truth of most forms of perceived synchronicity? We get what we want, thus we are happy and the emotions connected with happiness allow us to attract what we want – synchronicity occurs! (Or our version of it.) Are we really happy through fulfilling our wants?
Our false identity can be blatantly obvious or almost entirely unnoticeable – UNTIL you threaten it. So let me ask you to ask yourself this question in the truth. If you gave up wanting and accepted what you needed, what effect would that have on your entire life now? Really think about the effect this would have on you. Remember, wants are superficial manifestations of searching for self-acceptance externally, and needs are real. What are needs? Food, shelter, health, love and connecting to your true self. EVERYONE I know wants something, therefore are we all (to a greater or lesser degree) living in an illusion? I believe we are and it’s time to wake up.
Could you really give up wanting? I’d bet nearly everyone reading this wouldn’t want to. Therein lies the problem to our current existence and the flow-on effect it is having to our amazing planet. The problem isn’t out there, it’s in us! To solve all external problems, you must be prepared to allow the real you to come through and that means getting out of your comfort zone.
I was once living in a house and in a relationship with a long-time friend where there was an unhealthy co-dependency. We were both getting what we wanted from each other; however we were suppressing our true needs. I decided to follow my heart and started to express how I really felt. Within a relatively short timeframe, things came to a head. I was told to leave, which I did, and as a consequence I became homeless. Surprisingly enough, the universe supplied everything I needed. It wasn’t what I wanted, however as I learnt to release myself from wanting, the process became much easier. The moral of this story – you have to be ‘YOU’, often regardless of the consequences. Stop compromising your needs for your wants – it will NEVER work. Be you. If you don’t, problems will either manifest in some form or you simply become numb. There is also a distinct freedom and power that comes when you do decide to be your true self and listen to what your heart and feelings (intuition) are telling you.
Since I have decided to be ‘me’ and live the truth, one of the many fascinating though saddening things I been able to observe much easier, is just how deep the rabbit hole of conditioning with our insatiable egos really goes. It is heavily embedded into every one of us. Just turn on your TV, radio, iPod or simply talk to anyone you meet today. You’ll soon see what is said revolves around the false concept of ‘wanting’, if you assess the situation honestly.
In flowing with your feelings or following your heart, comes a sense of knowing. This is difficult to explain because when you think you understand knowing, you don’t. Knowing is pure and comes from your heart. To be truly in sync with whom you are, you must free yourself of wanting, be prepared to accept that the universe will provide you with your needs and act from knowing. I know that this is the key to releasing our long repressed spirituality and true selves. This is also the key to creating our alternative new co-operative future where honest forms of communication are normal. We no longer have to live in contradiction to our true nature; we can live in accordance with love by simply following our hearts and ceasing to want. When applied, the universe creates synchronicity in your life; that is, what you need and often want (because you no longer want) flows into your life. You find the real ‘YOU’. This is true synchronicity.
On a personal note, I offer my services to help guide people find the truth. I love what I do, though admit that from everyone I have worked with (with the hindsight of experience), this means facing your fears. You can only achieve your true potential if you are prepared to face your fears, again remembering that fear is not real. Love is.
Finally, I would appreciate your feedback to the following question (which is relative to the above article): Is judgment the root of wanting and ultimately, is this what keeps us separated from our true selves and why?
I would also like to leave you with this to ponder over as I believe it is a good description of everyone’s journey towards the truth – love:
‘To become who you really are, you must die to who you think you are.’

Pai Chui, who was a famous poet, asked Zen Master Wei-Kuan, “How should our bodies, speech and minds be used in our practice?”
Wei-Kuan said, “If we practise the supreme bodhi with our bodies, then we are observing the precepts. If we express it with our mouths, then that is the Dharma. If we practise it with our minds, then it is Zen. Although it can have three different functions, its purpose is the same. The River Huai and the River Han have different names, but the nature of their water is not different.
The precepts are no different from the Dharma, and the Dharma is the same as Zen. If our bodies, speech, and minds can be exercised together, then the three of them are one in our hearts. Why should you draw any distinctions among them?”
Pai Chui questioned, “If there are no distinctions, why do we have to cultivate our minds?” Wei-Kuan said, “If our minds are originally pure, why do they have to be cultivated? You should understand regardless of its purity or impurity. Not allowing any thought to arise is the most crucial point!”
Pai Chui reasoned, “Impurities are like dirt that can be wiped away. Thus, we should not give rise to such thoughts. With regard to purity, can we also not give rise to such thoughts?”
Wei-Kuan said, “For instance, our eyes cannot tolerate any substance that blocks them. Although gold dust is valuable, it will hurt our eyes if we try to put it in them. Dark clouds can cover the sky, so can white clouds.”
Pai Chui said, “One who does not practise nor has no thoughts is no different from an average person.”
Wei-Kuan said, “An average person is always ignorant. Followers of the two yanas always cling to what they practise. If one be freed from these two sicknesses of ignorance and clinging, then one will engage in true practice. A true practitioner is neither overly zealous nor overly forgetful. Zealousness is close to clinging, and forgetfulness is close to ignorance. This is the essence of Zen.”
Pai Chui finally understood and became a true practitioner of Zen.
