It is not written: there are no absolutes, no definitive truths? There are however, endless possibilities and potentials.

These words are only my point of view, my perceptions. They have no meaning, They have no meaning, no truth, no power – that is, unless you choose to believe them. …Aahh yes, if you choose to believe. Belief is so powerful as to exclude possibilities that extend beyond the paradigm of that which is believed. Therefore you are not creating a life of unlimited potential for yourself while you hold specific beliefs. So what are you creating and who’s writing the script?

Prophecies have played major roles in orchestrating history since the origin of the thinking man. At present, the 2012 prophecies are of course the most prevalent, with many individual interpretations and perceptions of their meaning. Many of us have a feeling, a thought, an opinion about a prophecy… therefore an energy charge toward its manifestation.

For over five centuries man has pondered the predictions of Nostradamus, as well as those of the Mayans, the Hopi Indians, etc. That’s millions, possibly billions of individuals who at least had a thought or a feeling about what was predicted for our present time period. Think of all that powerful energy. It makes you wonder what effect our ancestors may have on creating the outcome of the 2012 prophecies.

Here’s an Einstein-type question: has the Prophet depicted inevitable future events, or has he perceived a possible outcome in which those who observe the prophecy give it power? The observers (those who hear of the prophecy) are never idle; they are always part of the process, therefore orchestrating the outcome. Imagine what we could manifest if we all aligned our thoughts toward a peaceful, loving, unified 2012. As you think it, so you have energised its creation!

Many of us are aware of the concept that what we believe, we create, yet knowing this intellectually doesn’t necessarily prevent us from creating the very things we do not want. Bugger! Why is that? Well for a start there is the difference between the conscious mind and the subconscious mind, which are all too often at odds with one another. The conscious mind is mostly influenced by current experiences while the subconscious is a storeroom full of old programming, and unless we are fully present in our bodies in the now moment, paying full attention to every thought, feeling and experience, then we are subject to myriad internal and external influences and inconsistencies in our creation process.

For those who visit or intend to visit a psychic medium, card reader or any gifted being for the purpose of hearing about the future, it is perhaps wise to exercise caution. For unless you are a skilled conscious creator with mastery over your subconscious mind, then you are open to being ‘programmed’, however unintentionally, by the messages you receive. Often the messages we hear, particularly if they’re from a trusted source, become internalised – even when we think we don’t believe what we’ve heard. Once we hear it, we put a thought to it, run it through the emotional centre and hey presto! we’ve planted a seed that has the potential to grow into a future reality.

I was trained in the art of mediumship some years ago, by a very gifted medium who would teach his students to offer the client constructive solutions and alternatives to assist them in creating their highest possible future. This differs from a ‘cold reading’ – where the client is just given the facts (as perceived by the reader) – which is only as good as the moment it is delivered. If an individual doesn’t change all that much in their life from the time of the reading, then the reading is likely to be accurate. However, the individual may change just one thing in their life in the very next moment, setting in motion a ‘butterfly effect’ and instantly changing or voiding what was potentially a future reality. So think carefully before consulting anyone else about the future, for in so doing, you might just be handing over the reins!

The present is cause and the future will be effect. The present now moment is fluid, always in motion, constantly changing according to our experiences. So if the present moment is unpredictable, how can the future be predictable? The only sure thing is choice and the only time you have the power to choose is now. You are the only one who can create your reality and you are doing that every second, with every breath. Be aware of your current vibration, for this is what you bring into the next moment of your reality.

Consider carefully what your chosen future will look like; feel like, sound like. Be specific and add as much detail as possible. Imagine, feel, sense, hear the things you want in your life as though you are living them NOW. When you imagine, the mind does not distinguish between past, present or future. The brain sends the appropriate messages to the rest of the body in order to set in motion a specific frequency that will ensure the manifestation of what is imagined.

If we do not want to hand our future over to Prophecy, then we can perhaps view such insight as an opportunity to be more aware of where we are positioned; what our frequency is and thus the choices we make for our future. After all, this is the gift of human free will.

Wu Lan and Li Te were good friends. Li Te was older than Wu Lan and felt a big-brotherly responsibility toward him. Li Te taught his friend the long and complicated game of Go, and the two friends spent many hours together in Li Te’s garden posed over the checkered board in mental battle.

One day, Wu Lan was late, and Li Te decided to go look for him. Li Te found his friend shuffling along a rutted lane, head down, eyes glued to the ground. Occasionally, Wu Lan peered into a ditch, prodded at the hedges, or kicked over a clump of mud.

“What have you lost?” asked Li Te.

“Mmmmmmmh?” breathed Wu Lan absently, without
raising his head.

“What have you lost, Wu Lan?” repeated Li Te, wondering if indeed it could perhaps be his mind – momentarily, of course.

“Nothing.”

“Ah, but…how can you lose nothing, when you are looking for something? You must have lost something.”

“Well, I’m looking for something I’ve never had, so it’s nothing I’ve lost.”

“Perhaps I can help you,” said Li Te. “What is it you are looking for?”

“Questions.”

“Questions?”

“Questions to my answers.”

“But your answers already have questions. That’s what makes them answers.”

“True, but you see, I am beginning to question them.”

Li Te fingered his thin, wispy beard. If his friend continued his quest this way, he might never see him again. Wu Lan could travel to the ends of the earth; he might search forever. Without a word, Li Te turned Wu Lan around and took him to his garden. The Go board was ready for play.

Wu Lan, out of deference to his elder, made no protest. Diligently, thoughtfully, he placed his first stone, just as Li Te had taught him. He waited. Then, after some moments, he looked up at Li Te, who was still sitting in front of an empty section of squares – empty, that is, except for something Li Te deliberately placed there – a knobbly lemon.

The two men looked at each other. Li Te had a knowing twinkle in his eye – and Wu Lan began to laugh. He laughed all along the hedgerows of his mind, down valleys and over hills, outward and onward in a great and ever-widening circle.

The question is…
